May 7-11
Religion – Mrs. Burns’ students will be in charge of the readings for mass in May. We are moving on to Ch. 12: God Calls Us to Holiness. We will also be discussing the Ten Commandments and the meaning of the Our Father.
Reading – Words Are Wonderful Lesson 16
Language – Unit 8: Writing With Adverbs
Spelling – Ch. 12 This is a review chapter.
Math – Ch.11: Division
Remember . . . the students should be practicing MEMORIZING their math facts daily. There are several web sites available to supplement their studying. Most students have flash cards (bought or made) that are perfect for studying on the go!
Science - Lab on May 8th and 22nd.
We are finishing the unit on Properties of Matter.
Messages:
· Ultimate Lion Challenge is Friday, May 11th.
· The students will receive the sacrament of Penance after mass on May 15th.
