Grade 3

We meet once a week and are working on movies with the Zimmer Twins at school website and starting to learn about Microsoft Excel.

Grade 4

We will continue to meet once a week and are working on our blogs, basic computer terms review and how to make folders and save things on our network. We are working on movies with the Zimmer Twins at school website and starting to learn about Microsoft Excel.

Grade 5

We meet twice a week and are working on Word 2010. This is a new upgrade to the computer lab from Office 2003. We are navigating the new menus to create documents and figure out where everything is in this new version. This quarter, we will be working on Internet skills.

Grade 6

We are working on the school newspaper, The Pride Speaks. We will create stories, learn how to use the cameras, scanners and make comics.

Grade 7

We meet twice a week and are working on robotics! With the Lego Mindstorm program, we are building and programming our robots to perform various tasks such as moving, detecting light and sound and much more! Very cool!

Grade 8

This quarter, we will be working on Internet skills and vocabulary. Preparing final presentations for sharing.
